Today, I would like to share my experience of buying something from AliExpress.
Free express shipping to Saudi Arabia in 10-20 days on order over US $50, it important to keep in mind that this limit changes from time to time. So, always try to meet the minimum order requirements to benefit from this offer. Always calculate your cart amounts manually to make sure that all items are eligible for free shipping.
I live in Jeddah, KSA and we all know that the parcel receiving was considered risky, but I am here to assure you that now the postal system can be trusted anywhere inside Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, whether it is Riyadh, Damman, Jeddah, Tabuk or any other city here thanks to the Saudi 2030 vision.
I ordered this 3 meter baby cot bumper, screen protectors for my ipad and some other items to qualify for the free shipping. See the pictures below.
You can see from the pictures below that the order arrived pretty quickly. Once, AliExpress consolidates all the items ordered in their China warehouse, then they ship it from China. Here Naqel Express (affiliate company of Saudi Post), in my case, took over the order and delivered it to my door. You can track your shipment using the tracking number, I have highlighted in Yellow.
I did not incur any extra charges such as tax, duties or VAT. I was NOT charged anything when I received the order. It shows 0 COD, you can look on the shipping label I have attached after the order status pictures.
*Note: Saudi Post will charge VAT if its not ordered using AliExpress direct shipping, like china or Singapore shipping service form China, you will be charged the VAT 15% on the total value declared for your order.
